Panama | Panama - this is the name given to the weave of these fabrics using two or more threads in the warp and weft directions. This results in a loose fabric that is highly permeable to air and ideal for clothing as well as accessories and home textiles. The fabrics are easy to cut thanks to their simple cross weave.
However, seams and hems must be well-protected against fraying, e.g. using a double seam. |
